hotel is divided into different sections with a modern
elegance that guarantees a seamless flow from one part
to another.
Conference
Centre
The
spacious conference centre is situated on the lower
ground floor and suitable for medium to large conference
and events. It is suitable for multi-meeting conferences
and cocktail parties. The garage also has a direct
entrance into the conference centre ensuring simplicity
of containing an entire event in one area. |

When
Ferrari drove in and placed a car as their centre piece
for an event, the hotel guests also had the pleasure of
viewing it from their rooms through the glass roof providing
a fantastic amount of natural light. The rooms are fully
equipped with AV and the technicians are immediately on
hand (and out of sight) ensuring that everything goes
smoothly. A major plus when using the conference centre
here is that all connectivity and the business centre
is free – another thoughtful touch that the hotel
provides.
Bedrooms

The rooms
at Pullman are all about the small touches which
creates an impact. They aim is to provide anything
you require. All the rooms are spacious and fully
equipped with all mod cons. The decor is very modern
and elegant without being too edgy for the business
clientele.

All
rooms provide free connectivity as standard and the safe
is also laptop-sized for your peace of mind. The Pullman
will soon be upgrading their rooms to include espresso
machines as standard. Not only do they provide a choice
of pillows in your room, they also provide a pillow menu.
Another
thoughtful touch is the paneling in the corridor which
acts as a separating door closing the room off from the
bathroom and creating a small dressing room in effect;
making sure you do not wake your partner.
Junior/Deluxe
Suites
The junior and
deluxe suites are all individual and carry beautiful views
from their floor to ceiling windows. The bathrooms are
again stunning, include Jacuzzi baths and each one is
individual; ranging from a New York City loft to a Japanese
inspired theme. The office can be converted to a home
cinema again mindful of business client who is staying
for an extended period who both works and relaxes –
the comfort of home, away from home!
Swimming Pool & Spa
As it happened my trip coincided with one
of the 35 days or so of a year when it rains in Barcelona
- meaning I could not use the pool but it looked gorgeous
from inside the hotel! There are in fact two pools, one
being on the roof with a bar and perfect for events holding
beautiful vistas of the sea.
The Spa was also being upgraded at the time and when opened
promises to provide a relaxing and luxuriant experience
Bar & Restaurant
The bar is a great space to have informal
meetings and drinks. The bar staff’s knowledge is
extensive and if you smoke there is a rather plush smoking
lounge where cigars will be chosen according to the Cognac
or Whisky of your choice.
The restaurant is aimed at the business clientele and
prides itself on being able to provide a sumptuous light
three course lunch in 45mins. The future for the Pullman
dining experience is the “anything, anywhere, anytime”,
where you will be able to order whatever you desire where
ever you are in the hotel at any given time.
I would gladly stay at the Pullman again
on my next visit to Barcelona. It provides everything
you need for your business and also makes sure that whatever
free time you have is enjoyed in a wonderfully luxurious
way.
