in London, most people think about design hotels, grand
hotels and all things regal. However, London is deceptive,
and really does have it all – chic, boutique, quirky
– you name it London has it. Executive Traveller has

Chandos
House was extensively refurbished in 2004, retaining the
features of the original Robert Adam House design. The
bedrooms and bathrooms offer the very best in hospitality.
They are luxurious and well presented, and some contain
the renowned Adam fireplaces.
 |
All
the bedrooms at Chandos House are individually designed
and furnished; they include two suites; the King
George III Room and the Chinese Room. They all have
flat screen colour televisions (with built in Freeview
box), direct dial telephones, en-suite bathrooms,
ample desk space, Wi-Fi internet, hairdryers, tea
and coffee making facilities and a fridge offering
a small selection of beverages and wines. Inclusive
within the room rate is a continental breakfast
buffet which is served in the impressive Terrace
Room with its high ceilings and Venetian style windows
overlooking the walled Garden Terrace. |
They
have a 24-hour reception team that are always available
to help and assist you to ensure your stay at Chandos
House is very comfortable.
For
private dining and events, it is good to know that
the grade I listed building which was built in 1769-1771
and designed by Robert Adam, a prominent architect
in Georgian Britain has been the scene of some numerous
lavish parties during the early 19th Century. It
is therefore no wonder that the boutique style hotel,
allows for the exclusive hire of all of the function
rooms for weddings and other weekend celebrations. |
