Eurojet Aviation

UK charter and management company Eurojet Aviation says that it has become the first UK operator to receive CAA approval for public transport operations on the Cessna Citation Sovereign. This is because the company has taken delivery of two new Sovereigns and a new Citation XLS within the last three months and will be adding two further XLS’s to its managed charter fleet before the end of the year. The company has also opened its first London base at Stansted Airport, where one of the Sovereigns is now based.
Announcing the developments, Eurojet’s Managing Director, Graeme Campbell, said, “This is a very exciting time for the company, with the addition of five brand new aircraft this year, the opening of our first London base and the start of our commercial operations on the Sovereign. The performance and range of this aircraft has made it the natural addition to our fleet, enabling us to meet the demand from our clients for a larger and longer-range aircraft in this rapidly expanding sector of the market.” The company says that a further significant announcement on its expansion plans will be made in early July.

Bombardier Skyjet International is now part of VistaJet

New deal makes VistaJet the second largest business jet company outside North America
Privately owned VistaJet Holding SA (VistaJet) with headquarters in Switzerland and Bombardier Aerospace companies have signed definitive agreements under which, for an undisclosed sum, VistaJet has acquired Skyjet International, an aviation company with offices in London, Hong Kong and Dubai.
The transaction promotes VistaJet to the number two position outside North America and allows VistaJet to expand its revolutionary Flight Solutions Programme and expand operations worldwide.
The Skyjet International transaction and current aircraft order will see VistaJet’s fleet expand to 94 jets by 2012. The Company recently forecast a 50 per cent increase in revenues for this year and expects to generate approximately 80,000 flight hours by 2012.
