HOTEL CRAWLING - FIND OUR WHICH HOTELS ARE GIVING YOU VALUE FOR MONEY

July 2008 Vol 7 - Issue 1

Dear Readers,

Another summer month, and we bring you another exciting edition of Executive Traveller.
Managing executive travel is very important this is why we continue to work organisations like the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO), Customs, the TMA and business lawyers to ensure that you are getting it right all the way.
In this edition, we have published the Road Safety Tips from the FCO, tips on how to do business in Germany and Toby Robinson of UK Law Firm Travers Smith’s shares his views on how to settle disputes. We had also given you access to the UK Customs' podcast. We continue to strive to make Executive Traveller a one stop point for all your travel needs.
As from this summer, we are “hotel crawling”. When a survey by Best Western claimed that 92% of your PAs are under pressure to find you the right hotels, we have made it our business to “hotel crawl”. We recognise that it can be very disappointing when expectations are high and the service lets you down. We are also aware that tastes and preferences differ so our reviews will be aimed at value for money opinions.
In this edition, Demelza Birtchnell checked into Rocco Forte’s Hotel de Rome during her visit to Berlin, Germany and Jasmine Birtles fell in love with what the Colonnade has to offer in Boston, USA. We will continue with these visits in order to update you on our findings – stay tuned.
Finally, we will be crowning our best hotel service staff of the year so please let us know if you would like to nominate anyone and why.

Once again enjoy this newsletter and do not hesitate to let me have your comments.

Warm regards
Lyssiemay Annoh

With over 146 million visitors annually, and growing, Berlin now ranks among the top three most popular European city breaks after London and Paris. The city’s compact historical districts and excellent transport system, along with the relatively late opening hours of many attractions, will allow you to get a great taste of the city in a weekend.
