Where
is the year going?
I cannot believe it is September and I am
already talking about skiing! Regular readers
will know about my passion for a good lifestyle
and since not every luxury lifestyle product
offers a good service, I have been out hunting
for excellent customer service which I intend
sharing with you, so stay tuned.
I cannot understand how some service providers
such as hotels can think that as soon as
they have ‘scrubbed up’ their
hotel and offer you a clean room, their
staff can be as indifferent to guests as
they like and their guests will keep coming
back to use their products. Like the French
will say “c’est incroyable
mais vrai” - incredible but true.
For me, service is so vital that it takes
me a while to adjust if the initial service
I was expecting is missing at the welcome
desk.
Jokes aside, it would be unimaginably sad
to think that service does not matter. When
it comes to lifestyle products, excellent
service must come as standard. Unless the
world is spinning upside down, hands up
anyone who thinks that the décor
is more important the service that you can
expect.
