Australia’s Noosa is hosting the Settler’s Cove Celebration in May
Visit Noosa in Queensland, Australia during 16-18 May 2008 and you will be enjoying the fifth annual Settler's Cove Celebration of Australian Food and Wine. This three day event gives foodies the opportunity to eat, relax and celebrate Australian food and wine as well as enjoying Aussie barbecues and cooking classes with top chefs such as Matthew Moran and Tobie Puttock. You can also taste food by some of the 250 restaurants in Noosa and attend summits where key issues and trends facing the food and wine industry are explored by a host of experts.
Programme:
On Friday 16th have a cooking lesson and lunch with a celebrity Aussie chef or spend a day on the Asian or Afloat food trail down the tranquil Noosa river and end the day off with a seven course ‘Great Australian Degustation’ evening!
On Saturday there will be culinary exhibitions, food and wine tasting, celebrity chefs’ cooking demonstrations and live entertainment.
Then to end the festival take the family out on Sunday to the ‘Great Aussie Picnic’ and live concert starring Australia’s ‘King of Jazz’, James Morrison teaming up with the sensational Deni Hines. If you can still fit in more food, take part in an eight course ‘Great Australian Degustation’ evening or join some of the great chefs at Noosa’s restaurants.
